You need to change the task status available for your users to pick

To change the available status' in tasks

  1. Log in to Zoho CRM with Administrator privileges.
  2. Go to Setup > Customization > Modules and Fields
  3. Click the Task module from the Modules list view.
  4. Click on the Tasks Module
  5. Select the layout you want to modify (standard)
  6. Click on the Ellipse (...) next to Status
  7. Select Edit Properties
  8. Change the pick list options
